I have been working with this WordPress software now for a few weeks. It seems to be flexible for use and has features that I appreciate. I did create a template for a bonsai page and I think it can be used to build out the species pages in Binsai. It will have fields and information that may not be applicable for other plant pages though so I will see how things go.
I am NOT trying to create a site for scientists or nurseries, it will just be a place where I can find the information that is important to me. I have spent many hours trying to find information about Philippines plants, names, identification etc..
The first page I worked on was Vitex parviflora, which I dont think many people use these names. Here it is commonly called TUGAS and even a supposed varietal called bato. In time I will be able to create more information about this plant ad place it here. Later, if I keep my mind straight it may help others. Here is the Vitex parviflora (Tugas).
Other progress would be the About Us page and some other tables and galleries created. In time there will be meaningful information here. For now I am just trying to establish what works.
