I have been reading it can come from a fungal infection, bugs, or watering issues. I am not sure which one it is so I thought to post here in case anyone else knows what this is caused by.
It seems most of the new growth does not have the bumps. The older growth has a lot.
I recently de-wired this plant and I plan to get this repotted as I feel it is best to learn all I can know about the plants I have. When I repot I will be sure of the soil composition and the status of the roots.
Maybe that is my next step to learn what this is.
