I have gotten a good start on the table for bonsai that you might grow in the Philippines. These are plants I have now or have heard about getting. Some are not native to the Philippines and others are still only available through import.
I imported my first two shipments this last month and received Buxus harlandi as well as some podocarpus color variations.

The Buxus all look about the same. They have the same ball shape so once they get growing it will be time to figure out the shape to go for. For the Podocarpus, well they all shipped in this week so time will allow them to settle in and we can see the new growth to see if they live up to the color hype.
After I take some time to review the bonsai materials list I will try and create the plant page for one of these plants and then hope I have enough knowledge to fill in some menaingful data fields. I dont even know which fields I will use. For sure I am going to try and get some pictures posted to help with plant identification. That has been a really sore spot for me as I prefer to know which plants I have.
