UI or Unidentified. So what is the point? Well I thought to create an informative website to help in identifying plants I acquire for my garden here in the Philippines. The Philippines are new to me as are the plants. Therefore, I do end up with plants that I am just not sure what they are. I mea when I got them they had a name, but that doesn’t always mean it is true. Sold plants are just sold and accurate identification may not be the driving factor in the sale. I thought about how to identify the plants that are in question and I have tried many things.
For instance, many of the books I find are not specialized in plants found in the Philippines. Most of the books were written by someone that kept plants in the USA, Japan, or Europe. Heck, I have already used 3x plant apps and the results are definitely not worth the time in using those apps. Most of the time the results are questionable at best. Sometime just plain laughable. Again, the apps are not based on plants here in Asia or the Philippines.
So here we are. I will post as many detailed images as I think is worth while and I will do my best to describe the plant in question through additional textual information. Then, well the it is up to you to throw in some of your knowledge and see if we can conclude, with some referenced evidence, what it is. NAME THAT PLANT! Yep, welcome to NEW THAT PLANT!
NAME THAT PLANT

I will post some pictures of the plant and some others to help in its identification. Next, here is a picture of this UI plant next to the other plant I got within… Read more: Not Snowbush
