I have been working with this software and it seems to be flexible for use and it has features that I appreciate. I did create a template bonsia page as it will have fields and information that may not be applicable for other plant pages. I will see how things go.
I am NOT trying to create a site for scientists or nurseries. I just want to create a place where I can find the information that is important to me when I am keeping and growng these plants. I have spent many hours trying to find information about Philippines plants, names, identification etc..
The first page I worked on was Vitex parviflora, wich I dont think many people use these names. Here it is commonly called TUGAS and even a supposed varietal called bato. In time I will be able to create and publish more information about this plant to keep my mind straight and maybe help others to identify their plant and have a basic uderstanding of its growing needs. Other progress would be the About Us page and some other tables and galleries created. In time there will be meaningful information here. For now I am just trying to establish what works.
