The ficus microcarpa is an interesting plant as there are many aspects natural to the plant that shows off in bonsai. I like the aerial roots and the trunk structure that is natural for the species. I also think the leaves and canopy make for an appealing plant.
So far I have heard the marketing labels around this plant. Those are thing like Green Island, Nana, and similar labels to entice purchasing and the opinion the plants are better to use in bonsai. I dont have enough time with these plants to know that for certain.
This can make a good “thermometer” plant in that it may show signs of water deprivation but it is also one that recovers quickly if in need of water. When kept in your garden with other plants that enjoy indirect light these plants may shows signs of needing water before others.

Secondly, we only have so many plants and my photography skills are not actually skillful. Finally, if it would help to see another angle or view, view us a message and we will attempt to get the right picture perspective.
