Adenium arabicum

Adenium arabicum is the second species of adenium I acquired. These can be very large plants when mature, but not really tall ones.

    • Leaves: Large and Leathery.
    • Flowers: Tubular.
    • Fruit/Seed: Seed pods may develope after flowering.
    • Stem/Bark: Purplish to dark brown.

    • Sun Exposure: Full sun 4-8 hours daily. This plant can stand the afternoon sun.
    • Water Use: Drought tolerant once established, moderate water, salt spray.
    • Soil Mix: Limestone (anapog), Akadama, Pumice, Lava Rock
    • Fertilizing: balanced fertilizer every 2–4 weeks during the active growing season (spring through autumn). Reduce or stop feeding during the dormant period or after a heavy repotting.

    • Maintenance: Little required.
