Holmskioldia sandguinea is an ideal choice for a bonsai in cascade, semi-cascade, or informal upright styles due to its trailing branches. I think the flowers make this a standout inthe bonsai garden. I am glad I got this latest picture after our 5 day workshop. The sprial presentation is not standard cascade I guess, but it looks nice and is in my garden so that counts the most.
Easy to propagate through cuttings. Honestly, cut and stick in soil of another pot. Next month you have another plant growing.
I have read that there are color variations with the most common being as pictured here a rusty orange/yellowish. I have seen pictures of Red and rumors of solid Yellow.

Firstly, we are uploading pictures of our plants to show the parts of a plant that may help in identification. Secondly, we only have so many plants and my photography skills are not actually skillful. Finally, if it would help to see another angle or view, send us a message and we will attempt to get the right picture perspective.
