Alejandra, that is the name found on Google maps. This is a garden complex west of Cebu City and I think it was worth the trip. It does take time to get there as the road is winding and mountainous. It is also a pleasant drive with nice mountain scenes and nature at its finest.

When you get there

When you do arrive there is a nice spot available for parking, either a motor or auto. One thing I did before going in was to walk across the road and take in the view. From that vantage point you can see across the water to Negros Oriental. On a clear day maybe Canlaon Mountain/Volcano?

Choose your own path

The garden are itself is a fair amount of walking and uneven terraine, but it is not hard to get around the garden. Just take your time and take in the sites, plants, and fresh air. Our group roamed off into different directions and found the garden they were most interested in seeing.

Food is there too

I found some plants I haven’t seen in the Philippines before. One was the Persian Shield. Another interesting aspect about the garden is that they do have some plants that are potted and for sale near the Cafe. Unfortunately not the Persian Shield.

We spent a lot of time walking through the gardens and then met up again back near the entrance. In the main building there is a nice cafe with a good menu and prices. We got some food and drinks and relaxed. Some of our group brought some food along and I think there was a small charge for bringing your own food, but it wasn’t excessive. Anyway, I ordered some food and enjoyed it.

That is it, we took the path out and then the drive back home. Again, it was definitely worth the trip. Safe travels.
